Note: only the wired probe is intended for use in the oven. Do not expose the probe to temperatures above 250°C/482°F and avoid direct contact with flames. The thermometer unit itself is not intended to remain in the food during cooking; the plastic and electronic components can be damaged by excessive heat.
The thermometer and timer operate independently: when you program one, the other switches off. After use, the thermometer may be hot; use oven gloves when handling.
