Description
The HENDI Water Filter M is designed for professional water-using equipment, including convection-steam ovens, coffee machines, ice cube machines, vending machines and undercounter dishwashers. Its multi-stage treatment reduces water hardness, chlorine, unwanted odours and flavours, helping to improve water quality while protecting equipment against limescale build-up.
- Multi-stage filtration combines two carbon filters, a resin filter and a final suspended-particle filter.
- Reduces the calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness and limescale formation, with decarbonisation to remove calcium and magnesium carbonates.
- The first carbon stage retains larger particles, chlorine and organic matter, while the second captures smaller particles that may affect water quality.
- A built-in filter head with an adjustable 0–70% bypass removes the need to purchase a separate filter head.
- Provides a maximum water flow of 3 litres per minute and operates at a pressure of 2–6 bar.
- Suitable for water temperatures from 5°C to 35°C and must be filled with cold water only.
- Features 3/8-inch male connections and measures 135 mm in diameter by 384 mm high.
- Installs and operates vertically; hoses, valves, connectors and other installation components are required but not included.
By reducing chlorine, hardness and substances that negatively affect smell and taste, this HENDI filter supports better-tasting beverages and food preparation while helping extend the service life of connected catering equipment. Its bacteriostatic effect also contributes to hygienic water treatment.
For bacteriological safety, replace the cartridge 365 days after installation or when its maximum output is reached, whichever occurs first. Maximum output varies according to the carbonate hardness of the incoming water and the selected bypass setting. The HENDI installation kit 237908 and electronic water flow meter 237915 are available separately for installation and consumption monitoring.
