Description
The HENDI Water Filter XS is designed for vending and soft drink machines, helping to improve beverage taste while protecting equipment against limescale. Its multi-stage water treatment reduces carbonate hardness, chlorine, unwanted flavours and odours, with a bacteriostatic effect to support hygienic operation. Measuring ⌀87 x (H)302 mm, this compact cartridge is suitable for professional beverage service installations.
- Successive carbon, resin and final filtration stages retain particles and organic matter while reducing chlorine and the calcium and magnesium compounds responsible for carbonate hardness.
- A built-in filter head with an adjustable 0–70% bypass removes the need to purchase a separate filter head.
- Provides a maximum water flow of 1 litre per minute for use with vending and soft drink machines.
- Operates at a water pressure of 2–6 bar and within a water temperature range of 4–30°C.
- Features 3/8-inch male connections for integration into a suitable water supply installation.
- Must be installed and operated vertically and filled with cold water only.
- Improved water quality helps enhance the taste of drinks, including coffee and tea, while reducing limescale formation inside equipment.
For bacteriological safety, replace the filter 365 days after installation or when its maximum output is reached. Actual output depends on the water’s carbonate hardness and the selected bypass setting.
Hoses, valves, connectors and other installation components are required but not included. The HENDI Water Filter Installation Kit 237908 can provide the necessary components, while the optional HENDI Electronic Water Flow Meter 237915 enables water-consumption monitoring.
